Der BBC Micro ist ein Heimcomputer der britischen Firma Acorn. Für seine Verbreitung an britischen Schulen sorgte ab 1981 vor allem eine Fernsehsendung der BBC, die das Gerät als Lehrmodell benutzte und somit auch für seine Namen verantwortlich war. Wegen seines relativ hohen Preises konnte sich der BBC Micro international nie durchsetzen.
